What an incredible experience!  I, along with my husband and two children, headed out on the open road to explore the Rocky Mountains between Banff and Jasper, Alberta along the Icefield Parkway.  The scenery in the mountains is so vastly different from what we're used to here on the prairies and its a trip we will surely do again.  There is so much to see that we couldn't possibly be everywhere but the things we were able to fit into our schedule were breathtaking!

The image below is probably my absolute favorite photograph from the journey though as you will see from the albums linked at the bottom of this page, picking a favorite was quite difficult.  This is a 3 frame vertical panorama and each of the 3 frames were composed of 5 shot HDRs.
